Did you try this?

I just bought a new Geforce3 ti 200 and when installing on windows xp it freezes in random places. Sometimes in games or on startup. The screen freezes and a ringing sound is made. If i do not install the latest drivers it works fine but i need the latest drivers later. Can i get round this and if i try with a geforce4 mx440 the same thing happens.
