I have a c drive and a d drive. C is filling up; D has much more space. How can I move files from c to d. I tried moving the 750mb program files but all it did was create a copy in d drive and gave me the sense that I shouldn't delete it from the c drive. I only have 300 MB left in C; I have 11.1 GB in D. I have to move big ticket items I think. Can you tell me how?

much thanks.

Well if you want to make space to drive C you would have to move non operating system files from drive C Work files music files or files that has nothing to do with the computers system is the kind of files that you have to move from the drive C also somtimes when you move large memory files from a hard drive sometimes you will get that message caustioning you about moving the files just be careful about the files that you move.
