The monitor says "Monitor working correctly-check cable or pc and it has three boxes with red blue and green in them. The monitor plug has one missing prong. Could this be the problem? Or what is? The computer boots up, but does not come up on the monitor. If this problem has anything to do with the a card, I will have no idea what your talking about, so please explain. Thanx So Much!

I don't think that one missing prong is going to be the problem, besides the PC is telling you the monitor is working, the card however might be bad The card or Video card is what is allowing your PC to display a message If you look behind your PC you will see the port your monitor plugs into, its a female with about 15 holes If you open your PC you will see that the port is actually a on a card that plugs into a slot on the PC mother board, that is the card you are hearing about Now if you are not comfortable with opening a PC I suggest bringing your PC to a professional so they can fix your problem.
