I have recently switched to another ISP , now my IE freezes

My ISP has been AOL for some two years. I have recently switched to another ISP. Now I am using Internet Explorer for my browser. When I click on Windows Update in IE and start the scan my IE freezes, the scan stays at 0%. I have to End Task and restart IE.

I have downloaded all the critical updates for Windows 98 from Microsoft website.

I would appreciate any tips to get my Update up and running.

I think the ammount of rom you have might be the problem 98 only needs 2-gigs of rom to work, But all of the new updates probally need more room to accept the programs that you are trying to download Pluse, you told me that you have downloaded so much already that your P 2 might just be stressed out.
