COVID-19 UPDATE: How Data Doctors is preparing & responding. Learn more >

My floppy drive is not working. I have tried many disks, and with each disk I have the same problem. Whenever I try to access the A:/ drive through "My Computer" or any other way, the system takes a long time to respond. After the drive makes some "grinding"/"reading" noise, it eventually says that "A:\ is not accessible. The device is not ready".
