My floppy drive is not working. I have tried many disks, and with each disk I have the same problem. Whenever I try to access the A:/ drive through "My Computer" or any other way, the system takes a long time to respond. After the drive makes some "grinding"/"reading" noise, it eventually says that "A:\ is not accessible. The device is not ready".

Help?

The problem is check with the floppy cable it might install backward and try switching the cable around
