MY MOUSE WILL MOVE CORRECTLY UP AND DOWN BUT NOT LEFT TO RIGHT, CORRECTLY, IT MANAGED SMALL JUMPS.

I HAVE CHANGED THE MOUSE FOR A NEW ONE BUT NO CHANGE. I HAVE RUN NORTON UTILITYS (ALL) AND NORTON VIRUS CHECKERS, I HAVE RUN DEFRAG, I HAVE RE LOADED WIN 98, I HAVE RELOADED THE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD DRIVERS, I HAVE CHECKED ALL THE CONNECTIONS ON THE COMPUTER TOWER AND THE MOTHER BOARD, BUT AFTER ALL THIS IT STILL WONT WORK PROPERLY.
