Failed installion

Windows update shows needing Q817287 as critical update; but fails to install.

Checked history and shows this updated installed successfully, at earlier date. But has failed numerous time since.

Now every time automatic update runs, shows needing this update. Which fails to install.

Ok what you might want to do is go to the system tools and go to system restore and just roll back the update and you can try reinstalling the update again Then again have you ever thought that if this update is really suitable for you because not all critical updates are ment for all computers and all the systems even thou the web site says so
