What is wrong with the task bar

Every once in a while, while I am surfing the internet, I will open new browser windows and my taskbar will flicker. Then I put my mouse down there and it'll reapear again just like my taskbar is unlocked, but I have it locked. After it reapears a few times it will just disappear completely but I can see the desktop where the taskbar was and my windows are still up and everything is normal except for my taskbar is gone. Then I have to get offline and restart. I am wondering what is wrong.

The problem is with the tast bar is that is on auto hide What you have to do is right cick the right conor of the screen Then a menu should come up click on properties then click on auto hide so it is not checked any more The taskbar will remain there at all times now.
