Right. VERY long problem. We purchased the pc 18 months ago. Up until 3 months ago, the pc has just been shutting itself off automatically. I have searched throught EVERYTHING and ANYTHING on the pc and have found no problems. I have asked numerous people and one has said it might be something to do with it overheating.....

I have a program called AIDA32. This checks and lets you know everything about your pc. The temp is usually on 56'C (134'F)

We were connected to the internet through dial up and have only recognised the problem when we are ONLINE.

It is getting to the stage where it is doing this up to 7 times a day. I have important work which i do through the pc and it is getting a tad annoying :o)

So if there is ANYTHING that you can do to help i will be ever so pleased and relieved.

You say you do alot of work on you PC, I'm curious are you doing this work online, because it sounds to me like you might have a computer virus Try running your AntiVirus software if you don't have any on your PC than you will have to go out and buy some Norton Antivirus is pretty good I hoped this helps.
