i upgraded my power supply from a 200watt to a 300watt to have the capabilities of running the 3 new fans that i put in. the computer booted up just fine. after a few weeks i came back to the computer to put in some switches for the fans and they work excellently. there is no problem with them.

a problem occured somehow and that is when i turn the computer on, i hear the hard drive spinning and just when the signal gets to the monitor to turn on, the power stops. booting doesn't even start. memory checks don't even begin.

i've checked to see if the power supply was the problem, but it runs fine with nothing connected. i've checked to see that everything was in slot and they are all fine.

if you could help me get my computer back on track it would be overwhelmingly wonderful
