what do i do!!!!

i put a computer together and got some RAM it turns on but i had to format the computer because windows went wrong. i put the windows 98 disk in to boot off it and it does that but after that when it gets to the installing windows screen it either reports a error or stops. i have done FDISK, deleted the partion and put another one one and set it active but it still does not work help!!!!

Boot your computer with a boot disk, with cd support Try copying the files from the cd's folder named win98 onto your C:\win98 folder (you probably don't have this folder just create it using the command md) after the files are copied then run the setup from your C drive
