Why does the dialup connection box appear at startup

After downloading some Windows 98 patches and updates, the Dial Up Connection box appears on the screen at start up. I have to cancel some 20 times or so before it disappears.

If I press Ctrl+Alt+Del when it is on screen itappears in the list of programs running.

I have deleted all cookies, temp files and clean sweeped and sorted registry to no avail.

How can I cancel Dial Up Connection from appearing at start up?

I believe your problem has to do with a Zone Alarm update There was a version that had this error in it Update your version to the newest version that is out This should take care of your problem.
