I installed Kodak easyshare software for my camera and afterwards received an occasional error message, when I wasn't using the easyshare software, that there were problems with the operation of the easyshare program. It normally appeared when I started a game. Then I bought 256m of ram from Dell. I shut down the computer, disconnected the cables, opened the tower, moved the old 128m of ram to the empty slot and installed the 256m ram in the 1st slot.

I closed the tower, reconnected the cables and powered up the computer. It recognised all the ram and ran for a little while. Then I received a message that the computer could no longer find the printer. The next day the computer couldn't find the scanner. Did I mess something up when I put the ram in or is there a software problem? How can I fix this?

Verify that the correct printer is selected in the windows print dialog box

try printing a different data file within the same application .

try printing a test page using the os to verify that all is working between the OS and the printer.

to print a windows 9x test page, click start ,settings ,printers, and then right click the printer icon the printer properties dialog box appears.click print test page

if the os test is succesful ,then the os ,the printer driver, connectivity to the printer, and the printer are all working properly
