Windows will load fine but anytime one tries to run a program (eg. Kodak imaging, Add/Remove hardware in Control Panel ect.) the system hangs up and the program (from task manager) shows "not responding" as well as msgsrv32.exe is not responding no matter which program hangs up. The system utilizes Norton Utilities (could that be it?) and has recently been scan disked and defragged.

Most likley, the 32.exe file on your hard drive might be currup or going bad you must have you computer servised or find one of your close friends that can replace the file, The next step is for your computer to freez and never load again.
