SIR,

I HAVE A CELERON PROCESSOR,40GB,WITH WINDOWS ME.

1) MY SYSTEM TAKES A VERY LONG TIME FOR DEFRAGMENTING THE DRIVE-C (ABOUT 2 1/2 HOURS).IS THIS TIME ACCEPTABLE.

2) I WANT TO KNOW THE USAGE OF THE FOLDER 'TEMP' IN DRIVE-C/WINDOWS. THIS FOLDER OCCUPIES MOST OF THE SPACE IN THE DRIVE C. IS DELETING THE FILES IN THIS FOLDER,SAFE.

It is unsafe to delete the files on the temp folder in c: windows

Theres a way you can delete using internet explorer , tools, internet options and under temporary internet files click on delete files
