When I start the computer, often times it will disconnect within 5 minutes

Have a Dell 4300 pc XP . When I start the computer, often times it will disconnect within 5 minutes give or take. Then you have to go thru the routine again, any suggestions

Go to power options in control panel, and check to see if you got your computer set to turn off after 5 or so minutes And if so change the setings That should take care of your problems
