After my system boots to desktop I get a Winsock errror with my American Family Filter Program. Why after rebooting the system does this Winsock error keep coming up? Do I have
to reinstall the program or is the winsock file in my windows corrupt or damaged? Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
Thanks,
K.L.

Dear K.L There could be that something is wrong with your Winsock, you must remove it and reinstall it again.
To uninstall Winsock version 2.0 to restore the original Winsock version 1.x configuration, use the following steps:
NOTE: Some programs may not function correctly if Winsock 2.0 is uninstalled
Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs
Click Restore Winsock 1.x Configuration, click Add/Remove, and then click Yes
Windows 98 installs Winsock 2.0 by default The option to restore Winsock 1.x is available only if Windows 98 is installed as an upgrade over Windows 95 with Winsock 1.x Hopefully your desktop and system boot up should work fine at this moment, if you have any problems, please recontact us and let us know if there is anything we can do to help again.
