How can I get my address bar back

I use IE 6.0.2800 as my browser. Lately, my Address line has disappeared, although the View/Toolbars says it's there. Where did it go and what do I do to get it back? All I can see is a pale grey word "Address" at the right of the menu line, next to the XP logo

First click on the View button on the Toolbar Scroll down to the Toolbars menu and make sure there is no check next to 'Lock the toolbars', if there is a check click on it Now click and drag the address bar down and it should appear.
