When I uninstalled/deleted AOL 8.0, my Favorites list/page (websites mainly) was deleted and I didn't save it first, I would like to know if there is anyway to recover these files? This was months of research, please help me. Thank you

The bad news is that those websites u saved on AOL favorites were deleted when u uninstalled aol but there are ways that u can check if there are still on your pc.

COOKIES are files of webpages u visit in the internet

1 on your internet explorer browser click TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS

2 the last box should say HISTORY depending on the number of days ur history is set to clear maybe ull be able to find those page u visited.

if the number is 30 or whatever the number that is there thats the number of days those pages will be save on your computer than your system will automatically delete them.

3 right click the START menu (lower left corner of your desktop)

4 choose the EXPLORE option

5 look for the COOKIES folder and open it

6 there will be a files with the name of all the websites you visited view them and maybe you can find those websites that are so important to you.
