Crash and burning with the adsl modem

I have a computer which works fine until i install my ADSL modem. It just keeps crashing with the modem installed, yet the modem works fine if i try it in my friends computer! Is there any explanation for this?

It doesn't mean that anything is wrong with your computer it can just mean that adsl modem and your computer are just not compatible it happens Computer and parts are just like people they just don't always get alone Just make sure that you installed the software and the modem correctly to see if there is anything wrong with the installation and make sure that you have the suffeciant memory to run the adsl modem
