New computer

I am looking to buy an new computer in the near future. I would like to use my digital video camera, edit and transfer to dvd.

what are the minimum system requirments and amounts of memory i should get.

can you reccomend any software for transfering data to dvd.

what do you think of sony computers.

If your planning on doing some vedio editing and playing around with the video camera you will require a min of a proccessor that is 1 ghz or higher with at least a min of 128mb of ram but that is just the min personaly i would recomend a 2.0 ghz processor or highier and at least 518mb of ram or higher if you want some better performance And I think the sony computers are very good computers.
