Is it possible to get older software to run on my XP machine?

I have a lot of game software with win95 prined on the cd. I have a new computer with win xp

that will not run this old stuff. Is it possable to get this old software to work? Thanks Bruce

Did you try to install it, if it did not let you than no, you will probably have to get updated software
