I am having a few problems:

I am unable to reach certain sites from my laptop at home, I am only aware of two sites at the moment that I have problems with and the are sitemeter (free stats site) and commission junction (affiliate site).

The problem isnt isolated to just IE6 its also in Opera, and also not just one ISP, it happens to all 4 dial up accounts that I have. When I am at work I have no problems at all with them.

But all I get now is Page can not be displayed. I ran ad-aware it found nothing at all, I had a look in techadvice.com and it didnt come up with anything.

Sounds like its something on my PC, could there be any software that conflicts with browsers in this way or anything else?

When I try an IP look up with some little software that I have it cant find anything to do with the sites in question, it times out to the local host (my laptop) It wont even let me do a whois to see who owns the domains!

Does that mean its a DNS problem with my laptop? I know its not with my ISP, I tried with four dial up providers all with the same problem.

Does anyone have advice, please?
