What is removing a virus by using norton antivirus 2003

Sir,

I got the virus W32.Demo worm from a floppy. I quarantined it with Norton Antivirus 2003. But I am not sure whether the virus cleared. How can I clear the virus & also give some information about the virus.

First update your virus definition using the internet then scan your floppy disk to check for virus To get information about the virus click on your norton virus program then click on report then on "virus list" click on "view reports"
