PC locks up part of the time when I go to familiar web page

PC locks up part of the time when I go to familiar web pages part of the time. I use internet explorer V6, S 1.

The reason for this problem is that when you enter a web address and you don't have an immediate response, it means that the server that is hosting that web page is down or there are many users are acessing that server at the same time you sometime recieve a run time message The reason why your computer is lock up is because it is trying to connect to the webserver Secondly, try not to open many application at the same time AThis can cause your computer to freezes.
