The computer has been workin for about three years. I wanted to do a reinstall of win98se

Everything seems to work ok but the computer will not shut down after the reinstall....

Sometimes after you click the button, the screen will go blank or it will give you error

messages or you may not see the "Windows is shutting down mesage"----It appears to be

completely confused.... Is another reinstall in order or can this be fixed? I would rather

not reinstall win98se again because I am TOO CLOSE......

THANK YOU

I had a similar problem and the way I resolved it was by putting in the win98 disk and repaired a DLL file.
