What's the Internet?

When I first boot my PC and start Internet Explorer 6, for the first 15 minutes the browser text / graphics are huge! If I leave and return after a cup of coffee, things are mysteriously transformed to normal state (even in same browser session).

I originally encountered this problem when I was using IE5. Upgrading to IE6 did not fix this.

This is the same video adapter used when I first purchased this PC about 2 years ago, yet this problem has only appeared recently.

Adjusting the video adapter settings did not help.

Short of a complete baseline of my OS, any insight into this odd behavior would be greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,

Jason
