Can't burn cd's

I try to copy an audio cd and keep getting message, insert cd in drive. When I try to copy pictures from my Photo album, I get the same message, please insert CD. Ive talked to CompUsa tech support and they told me it was the Memorex Cd's, so I bought new cd's and have the same problem. My computer was purchased June 2001, and once and only once was I able to copy an audio cd..I dont know what to do. Thank you for your help in advance-->Bobbi

I think your problem is occuring from the software that you are using to burn the cd The best software to probably be using is roxio software or nero because if you were able to burn a cd at least once the its not your burner and trust me your blank cds have nothing to do with you burning music as long as you haven't recorded anything else on that cd your cool so just change your software and you should be good from there and just read up some more on the software that you are using.
