How can I correct this problem. Someone mentioned it could be memory. I have 248ram. My settings display only 48% in use.

It might be the RAM chip itself, it my be the wrong kind of RAM, or the chips might have come loose, this can happen sometimes If you are comfortable opening the case of your computer than try that Last it might be a virus, try running your antivirus software.
