Well to do a new install (re-install windows)you are goin to need few things:

1) Boot disk (diskette)

2)Windows 98 cd (with cd key)

3)Any disk with supporting drivers for your other hardware (ie video card, sound card)

(if you don't have them try downloading them from a friend's computer and save them on a diskette)

restart your computer with the boot disk inside the floppy drive when prompted use cdrom support.

At the command prompt (A:\) type: format c: and press enter

this would ask you if your are sure say yes

After format is complete locate you cdrom drive

should be letter d: or e:

there go to the win98 folder with the command cd win98

then type setup and follow the screen

Good luck

PS: you might want to upgrade your memory and get a better hardrive 1G is not enough anymore
