When I bought my new computer I stopped using my old one. Now that my youngest child is home from scool for the summer, I was going to let him use it. The problem, I set a password on bootup and I have forgotten it. There is also a supervisor password in setup and basically I have an ugly anchor for my boat at this point. Is there are way to override this password?

Any help would be appreciated since I really don't want to go out and buy another new computer when this one would do well enough for games and internet connections.

Thank You in advance for any help that you can provide me.

Well if your comfortable opening the case of the PC than you have to remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard It looks like a watch battery, if you have the paper work for that PC than find what jumper you will have to reset also In other words you have to remove the battery and reset the jumper on the motherboard.
