After my computer has been on for about 5 minutes the display becomes distorted when you move the mouse or begin to type. wherever the mouse or cursor travels the picture is distorted to the point you have to re-boot. Dell has instructed me to do a delf-test on the monitor which did nothing to fix the problem. I tried to reset the resolution this corrects the problem for about 5 minutes then you can go back and change the resolution again and this works for 5 minutes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For something like this is the cause of a bad vedio card you can try upgrading the vedio card but your best solution will probably be replace the card The reason that they probably asked you to do a self test on the monitor is probablt to test if the monitor isn't the problem if it isn't the monitor it is definatly the card
