I just got a new computer running XP Home Edition. I have XP Home Edition on another computer and when I click on that one's Start button, I get a list of recently accessed files, a feature I really like.

I don't see this option on my new computer and when I went into Control Panel to "Taskbar & Start Menu," there didn't seem to be an option for "Recent Files." Can you tell me if there's a fix for this, please?

Thanks!

Carol

The best way i can tell you that you can fix this problem you can try dragging the files you like to the recently accessed files that can help ease your day because that folder is always suppose to load up the files automaticaly so i don't know what to tell you about that you may want to go to microsoft.com and check out some of the updates see if that helps you up
