More often now I have been getting a 'lock up' while shutting down. When the screen freezes I have pressed ctl-alt-del to see what is running and always the program 'rundll32' is sitting as the last task.

I have to hit the reset button to have it run scan disk to get out of this freeze.

What is up with this? It is getting very frustrating because I cannot pinpoint exactly what the culprit is that day.

How can I resolve this?

Cathy
