I recently shipped my computer by mail in its orginal boxes (monitor and tower). I connected it the same way and now the screen is black but the indicators show that both the computer and the monitor are on. The computer also beeps when it is turned on (abnormally). I tried hooking up another monitor and the same thing happened. Can you please help.

The beeps you are hearing are called POST beeps, they are kinda like morse code for PC, those beeps mean something They let you know something is wrong with your PC, Remeber the pattern of the beeps, for example one long and three short, copy the pattern down Check your paperwork that came with your PC it should give you the POST scheme If not than I recommend a professional taking a look at it and helpng to correct the problem.
