Any freeware software that will help me build a simple database?

I would like to build a simple database of places I have visited (fileds such as GPS, state, city, comments,ect..). Do you know of any freeware or shareware software that would do the job?

Not that i know of, the only software I know is Microsoft Access Although it is not free, it is part of Microsoft Office and that usually comes installed on most systems.
