How can i fix the yellow tint on my monitor?

This all started when my friend told me to look at somebody I know's away message. Right as i clicked on it to see it my screen turned a yellow tint. I thought it was a virus but right now i don't know. My friend said he fixed his screen by turning down the green on his screen but even though i mess with the colors on my comp. they don't do anything.I would just like to know if there are any ways to fix this problem.

First try the settings on the monitor itself, if that does not work try the software settings in the display If that doesn't work switch your monitor with one you know is good If it is still yellow than it might be the video card if not than it is you moitor, could be a bent pin or just a bad monitor.
