I am all of a sudden having problems with my two Cd-rom drives. They are both recognized by my bios and windows xp but when I insert a Cd they do not read them. I have tried rebooting with a boot disk (cd rom drivers) and both are again recognized but don't run. I have disconnected each separately and neither has worked without the other connected. They both at one time were working great. I have no idea what could have caused this sudden change. I have not installed anything new. Please help!!!

If everything is plugged up correctly and both of them power on then have you tried reinstalling the device driver cd or the instalation cd that came with your cd rom that might be why your drives are not funtionly correctly.
