Trouble with the Onboard Video- Everything starts but the monitor light is amber and not green.

I've tried an AGP card and then a PCI card, and still no picture on screen. Is my motherboard shot or is it something else. Usually you can install a video card and will get activity on screen. I've tried the other Pci slots on the board and still nothing. Help

Thanks,

K.L.

In order for your other video cards to work, you must go into the CMOS and disable the onboard video, whi you do this, it will recognize the new card you installed.
