DSL is a broadband service provided by the telephone company, as to Cable which is provided by your cable company DSL gives you a steady connection and you have your own IP address assigned to you While a Cable you obtain an ip address when you sign on In a nutshell Cable is better because is faster than DSL, and this difference is not by much but if i was to choose i would go with Cable.
