Hi I really hope you can help me out here. I have a big problem with my computer. I have tried running scan disk a few times. It starts up and goes for a few minutes and I get half way through checking file folders, then I get a message that it has tried 10 times and that it needs me to close any programs running. I have already done that by end tasking them all and only leaving explorer and systray running. It has really slowed my computer down and I am really lucky if I can get internet explorer up and running. I thought maybe my boot disk may help but I dont even know how to use that! Please if you can help me out it would be great. Thanks

From what I read, the problem isn't needing to close running programs, it's your computer doesn't have enough memory to complete the task you request of it All you need to do is add another 128MB of memory, and she'll (your computer) run like a beauty
