The path to the Cyberkrn.vxd file in the error message may be different on your computer.

The Cyberkrn.vxd file is a component of the McAfee Oil Change program This behavior occurs when the registry refers to the Cyberkrn.vxd file, but the file no longer exists on your hard disk or the program is damaged As a result, when you start your computer, the Cyberkrn.vxd file is requested but not found.

To resolve this issue, contact McAfee for support on how to install the McAfee Oil Change program, as well as information on other issues that arise with McAfee Oil Change.

To work around this issue, remove the entry for the Cyberkrn.vxd file from the Windows registry To do this, follow these steps

WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

Click Start, and then click Run.

In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

Locate the following registry key:

Restart your computer.
