When I first open Winows browser, it takes about a minute to open. After it opens the first time, there is no problem....it opens fast. I don't have a problem opening any program the first time, it's just when I want to search for a file in the browser the first time. Please keep in mind that it is only the first time I open Windows browser. Thanks for any response.

Well when you first launch a program, it must be found on the hard drive and than loaded in to RAM, and this takes a little bit of time depending on the speed of you hard drve and size of it After it loads to RAM, you start to use the program The reason it is faster after you open it once is because of something called Cache This type of RAM anticipates your next move and is right almost all the time That is why it loads faster the second time.
