I up-graded to Windows XP from Windows Me. When I tried to play a movie, it wouldn't play, and when i tried to up-grade the player program it wouldn't let me do that either. How ever if bought a program I was able to play movies. I don't think I should have to pay to watch movies on my laptop. What do you suggest I do.

Thanks

Eddie

I suggest you go to the web site of your movie playing application, and download additional drivers XP has the tendency to knock out old configuration's, and requires you to downloan new driver's IT'S FREE! ! !
