Will I be able to trasfer data from my old drive to my old drive?

If I install a new hard drive, formatt it and install the operating system, then install my old drive as a slave, will I be able to transfer data from the old drive to the new drive?

Yes you should be able to You knew drive will come up as C and depending on what drive you have on your PC, the old drive wil either come up as D, E or F You will then be able to transfer date between them.
