On Internet Explorer 6.0.2800, when I click on a link and it appears as a shortcut in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, it fails to activate and I have to copy and paste it in the address bar to connect to it. This recently started happening, but I can't connect it with any change I've made.

Also, in no discernible pattern, I get a box to connect to the home page of Netzero, my ISP before it will download upon entering the program.

Thanks.

First of all you have to completely uninstall Netzero from your computer Make sure that there is nothing left of that Once that is done and you have restarted your PC try clicking on a link If you still come across the same problem then try reinstalling IE6
