Sounds?

I've been having problems with part of my sound card and i don't know why. The problem is the hardware "Soundblaster 16 or AWE 32 or compatible". All it says is "device cannot start" in properties. I've followed all the steps in the troubleshooter on Windows and I couldn't find anything on your website so i hope you can help me out.
