The color on my monitor recently shifted to an annoying pinkish tint that i cant seem to get rid of by adjusting the settings (like with the gamma correction). It changed when i was on the internet and i was just reading - not messing around with anything. How do i get it back to normal?

You say this happened while on the internet, try running a virus scan if you have one installed If it is not a virus than check the pins on the monitor cable, one of them can be bent If that is not the problem than check your video card, you can do this by using another monitor if you have access to one, if you get the same pinkish tint, than it is the video card and it will have to be replaced.
