Uninstalled HP Officejet K60 printer and then reinstalled and now it will only print in black/white

I uninstalled my HP Officejet K60 printer and then reinstalled and now it will only print in black/white. None of the "Advanced" options are available that allow you to print in "grayscale" or "color".

I've received information from Hewlett-Packard on uninstalling, including doing a Manual Uninstall which had me delete items from the registry. After doing this, I disconnected the printer and reinstalled the driver per the manufacturer's instructions and still do not have the ability to print in color.

Verify that the correct printer is selected in the windows print dialog box.

try printing a different data file within the same application.

try printing a page using the os to verify that all is working between the os and the printer.

the paper used for the printwer should be designed specifically for ink jet printers

verify that the ink supply is not low and the nozzles are not clogged.

(this problem arise if the printer has been idle for several days.)

the instructions in the printer`s documentations to clean each nozzle.

remove and reinstall each cartridge.follow the printer documentations to align

the print cartridges.

change the print quality selection for the printer .(use the printer properties dialog box.)

verify that the print head is not to far /or to close from the paper

if your printing transparencies,tyr changing the pattern in your printer application.
