When I open programs, windows explorer, windows, I have approximately 3800 files such as

"copy (2) of ffff9azf-{56554761-d55a-11d5-9d27-dfb 91801 f 847}" it goes all the way on some to copy (39). These are intermingled with the normal windows files. How do I get rid of these unwanted files? I have reinstalled windows 98, but the unwanted files are still there. Help

If you reinstall windows you could also download a registry cleaner to rename files you are unsure of, or manually remove all and copy them again
